The project stared with extensive market research and interviews with local and regional people in the clients target market. In addition, a study was conducted on the origins of the clients last name which yielded a strong connection to Italy which then became the building blocks of the brands.
Prior to the opening of the delicatessen, the mark was finalized and delivered then hand painted on the main entrance along with large format prints on the windows and exterior hanging signage. Menus and grand opening print materials were also created along with skinning a website on eat24.com. The brand is still being used and repurposed as of 2017.
