Seeing your project come to fruition is a great feeling. Early in my career as a print designer, I loved watching stuff come off the printer. It was like I was creating life in some weird way. You start with an idea in your head, than a scribble on a piece of paper and as it makes its way thru the process, it starts to take shape and life. And, for a truly devoted to the craft artisan, it instills a reward greater than any monetary gains.
Last week, a project that started off as any other “presentation deck” left me with a natural high (along with a soaked shirt) after seeing it come to life in front of 400+ people. The project was for the CEO of the company I’m working for and came with a high level of constraints and attention to minute detail. I love the process and what goes into it on every level. A bit of passion, drive and overall desire to push the envelope any way possible. Do Epic Shit!
